FAQ
What is Soft Science?

A venture studio that co-founds consumer brands with marketing-minded operators. We provide the team, network, capital strategy, and marketing expertise. Founders bring the vision.

What is a venture studio?

A company that builds startups from the inside — providing operational support, capital strategy, and expertise rather than just funding. We work alongside founders from day one.

Who is the ideal founder?

Someone who understands why things spread. Not a creative. Not a technologist. A person with genuine cultural instinct, obsession with a specific community or category, and the conviction to build around it.

Do I need a deck to apply?

No. We ask for three things: your name, what community or category you can't stop thinking about, and your email. That's it.

What stage do you work with founders?

The earliest stages — before product-market fit, before the deck is polished, before the brand exists. We co-found.

How is this different from a traditional investor?

Most investors write a check and wait. We hand you a marketing team. An active operating team, a decade of brand-building infrastructure, and the expertise to make things spread — all there before you get your first customer.
